These are the colors of autumn, Halloween and mystery! Bring your Orange and Black beads or finished jewelry and objects with those colors, and we will have an entertaining sharing session!

Beads can symbolize union as they look better when they are paired with each other to make a necklace or chains. . .

Orange is the color between yellow and red on the spectrum of visible light. In Europe and America, surveys show that orange is the color most associated with amusement, the unconventional, extroversion, warmth, fire, energy, activity, danger, taste and aroma, and the autumn.(1) Some vegetables, fruits and flowers are orange colored.

Orange beads can be used for a variety of purposes and have different meanings. They are often associated with creativity, enthusiasm, joy, passion, vitality, strength, and leadership abilities. Orange stones and crystals correspond to the second chakra, sexual energy, and vitality. In many cultures, orange is seen as a symbol of good luck and fortune. Orange beads can also have a spiritual meaning, representing the sun, fire, and heat.

Orange beads include glass beads, crystals, gemstones such as Carnelian, orange calcite, sunstone, amber and aragonite, and wooden beads.

Black beads are great on their own, or combined to accent other colored beads. The color Black represents power, elegance, and sophistication. Black is often associated with mystery and can evoke feelings of fear or sadness. It is also used to indicate mourning or grief.

Some Black beads include black tourmaline, obsidian, jet, black agate, onyx, hematite and Czech glass beads. The black beads are believed to symbolize being able to remain hopeful in the face of adversity and also being positive in the unhappy moments. By staying hopeful and keeping faith when things are bleak, it is believed that something great could come out of it.

One of the common meanings attached to the black bead bracelet is associated with hope and staying hopeful.  Therefore, with the black bead bracelet on, you will have a constant reminder that things will get better, eventually.(2)
