February is Black History Month, so what better way to celebrate it than by presenting artists who bring us African American beads, jewelry and other art! 

We have gotten together 10 artists to form a panel so to speak. These artists' artwork is in different genres: jewelry, quilting, painting, leather smithing, clothing and one is a consumer of black art! They are interested in sharing their stories and thoughts with The Bead Society. Sylvia Humphrey, our panel moderator, will ask questions of our panelists.

The program for the January 5th Bead Society meeting is Bead Identification. Nikki Donahue and Kay Deeney will be showing pictures of beads and asking you all to identify them. We did a similar program last year at the online Holiday Party. Back by popular demand, we will see what you remember, and show you even more interesting beads!
