Mother's Day Pop Up Success!

The Bead Society Mother's Day Pop Up held on Saturday, May 6th was great! Lots of people attended the brightly lit Parish Hall of St. Bede's Episcopal Church in Mar Vista. One attendee remarked that it was apropos that the church's name matches the Bead Society! 

Vendors sold finished jewely, paintings, art, photographs, tote bags, clothing, and art objects. Some beads and findings were also available.

We had a lot of support from members helping out in the Bead Society Room and staffing the membership table. The Pop Up committee showed up Friday night to move tables to their locations. The Beading community really turned out in numbers to support our fundraising efforts! 

Plans for next year include more Pop Ups. We may try different locations, as that is an aspect of a Pop Up--that it takes place various places. Stay tuned!
