Bead Society April Program: Breakdown of Metals used in Jewelry

Join us for the April 6th program meeting of the Bead Society! We will be meeting at 3:30 pm Pacific Time with our special guests from Halstead!

Learn all about the common metals used in jewelry making. Halstead Jewelry Supplies in-house Jewelry Instructor, Sylvie Alusitz, will break down the chemical makeup of the most popular metals, including silver, gold, and gold-filled. She will also walk you through their working properties and what to look for when selecting your materials. Beading requires specialized findings, or components, unique to its needs. We'll cover the most commonly used findings and how to incorporate them into your beaded designs.
