The Bead Society is a nonprofit organization, consisting of volunteers. The Society is open to all those who have an appreciation, either private, personal, or professional, of beads and their history. Some members are collectors, researchers, dealers, jewelry designers, beadwork weavers, etc. We encourage and share knowledge and enjoyment of every type of bead. In 2025, the Bead Society celebrated our 50th year in existence! Stay tuned!

The Bead Society meets monthly virtually (from September through June). Meetings feature illustrated lectures by an authority on beads and related subjects or member sharing. Click through to our Meetings page for details. We'd love to see you soon!
The Bead Society hosts Bazaar, Pop Ups and Bead Shows. The next Bead Society event will be the Bloom'n Beads & Gifts Pop Up on Saturday, May 23rd. and a Bead Bazaar in October, 2026. The events at the Veteran's Memorial Complex will highlight bead vendors, jewelry designers and artists with finished jewelry, and other objects of art! We usually meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 7:00 - 9:00 pm, from September through June. We will have meetings in person and via Zoom! Stay tuned for updates! No program meetings in July and August.
