Did you ever wonder how many different ways a group of beads could be interpreted? The Annual Bead Challenge is an opportunity members of the Los Angeles Bead Society to answer that question. There is no fee to enter and receive your packet of beads if you are a Bead Society Member. What you create for the contest will be limited only by your imagination.
The Annual Bead Challenge is an opportunity to demonstrate your creativity by designing a piece of work with the beads provided by the committee. There are a few rules for participation, however none that will limit your creativity. Stretch your imagination, design something unique: Jewelry, body adornment, sculpture, architecture, fantasy, art or…?
All entries will be reviewed by a distinguished panel of judges, and six cash prize categories will be awarded. Categories are:
• Fantasy – wearable art |

• Mixed Media |
• Functional Art |
• Educational |
• Seed Beads. |
All entries in The Bead Challenge are displayed at the April Bead Bazaar. We hope you are excited by the prospects of participating in this special event. The Bead Challenge is such a great opportunity to see what groups of people who share the same passion of beads do differently with the same beads.
