Did you ever wonder how many different ways
a group of bead artists could interpret a theme? The Bead Challenge
2010 “Anything Goes” is an opportunity for members
of the Los Angeles Bead Society to answer that question. To
enter the Bead Challenge you create something out of beads that
fits into one of the five categories listed (below). What
you create for the contest will be limited only by your imagination.
Bead Challenge 2010 is an opportunity to
demonstrate your creativity. There are a few rules for participation,
however none that will limit your creativity. Stretch your
imagination, design something unique: Jewelry, body adornment,
sculpture, architecture, fantasy, art or…?
A distinguished panel of judges will review
all entries, and five CASH prize categories will be awarded. Categories
are: Fantasy – wearable art, Jewelry- body adornment, Mixed
Media, Educational, and Seed Beads. All entries in
The Bead Challenge will be displayed at the April Bead Bazaars. We
hope you are excited by Bead Challenge 2010 and inspired to participate
in this special event.
To participate you just need to create something,
fill out an entry form, and turn in your piece with the form
before the deadline at the January, February, March, April Bead
Society Meetings, or ship it to:
